LONDON (Alliance News) - Collagen Solutions PLC on Monday said it has been awarded a grant by the UK government's Innovate UK Technology Strategy Board.
The grant has been given after Electrospinning Co Ltd, in partnership with Collagen, won an Inspired Feasibility Competition to develop a novel bio-synthetic substance to be used for internal wound healing.
Collagen will provide the raw materials needed to develop a novel bio-synthetic substance for use in internal wound healing, it said.
Shares in Collagen were down 2.7% to 9.00 pence in early trade on Monday.
