Cerillion wins £8.3m contract with US telco

(Sharecast News) - Software solutions outfit Cerillion has signed a major new contract with an unnamed US-based telecoms provider.Cerillion said the contract, worth an initial $6.8m and a total of $8.3m over three years, was secured after a comprehensive tender process and followed pilot work in the final quarter of 2018.The AIM-listed outfit will supply and install its Enterprise Business Support System and Operations Support System for the mystery client, as well as providing it with support and maintenance.Chief executive Louis Hall said: "We are very pleased to have secured this major contract with a leading regional US telecoms provider.""It is one of the company's largest wins, and was awarded after a stringent selection process. It demonstrates the attractive nature of our comprehensive, pre-integrated end-to-end solution, which can drive significant performance benefits for telecoms operators."As of 0830 GMT, Cerillion shares had shot up 12.5% to 167p.
