Canal+ gets access to Hachette catalogue via new joint venture

May 5 (Reuters) - ​French ⁠broadcaster ​Canal+ said on ​Tuesday ‌it ⁠was creating a ⁠joint ​venture between its cinema production ​arm, ‌StudioCanal, and French ​publishing giant Hachette ‌Livre.

The new entity, named "ON ‌SCREEN", will give Canal+ ​premium access to Hachette's ‌catalogue of over ⁠100,000 ⁠titles, ‌the company said. (Reporting by ​Leo ​Marchandon ‌in Gdansk, editing by Milla Nissi-Prussak)
