Jan 27 (Reuters) - The number of liquefied natural gastankers taking cargoes from Cheniere Energy Inc's SabinePass export terminal in Louisiana hit a record high of at least13 so far in January, Reuters' shipping data showed.

* In total, the 13 vessels this month had the capacity tocarry about 43.6 billion cubic feet of gas worth about $148million, based on the average fuel prices in January at theHenry Hub benchmark in Louisiana
