Britain's Next expands beauty business with former Debenhams stores

Thu, 07th May 2020 07:42

LONDON, May 7 (Reuters) - British clothing retailer Next
said on Thursday it will expand its beauty business by
taking on five former Debenhams beauty departments and
rebranding them as "The Beauty Hall from NEXT".

Next said it has signed flexible leases with landlord
Hammerson.

Debenhams said on Wednesday it was shutting five stores
leased from Hammerson after failing to agree rent terms with the
mall operator.
