BP says U.S. shale oil output to keep a check on spike in oil prices

CAIRO, Feb 14 (Reuters) - BP's CEO said on Tuesdaythat U.S. shale oil production will keep a check on any spikesin oil prices.

Bob Dudley, speaking at an media conference, also said hesees about $55-60 per barrel as a healthy price for crude oil.
