LONDON (Alliance News) - Berry Global Group Inc on Thursday said Russia has cleared its acquisition of fellow plastic packaging firm RPC Group PLC.
The GBP3.34 billion deal, which will see US firm Berry pay 793 pence per share for RPC, was granted unconditional clearance by the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia.
Russia joins South Africa, the European Commission, and the US, in approving the deal.
Shares in RPC were up 0.3% at 791.80p on Thursday.
