LONDON (Alliance News) - Bacanora Lithium PLC on Thursday said it continue to focus on securing USD460 million on funding for the Sonora lithium project in Mexico in the second quarter of 2019.
The mining company made these remarks noting recent media reports and the 26% rise in its share price on Thursday. Bacanora shares jumped on Thursday, trading at 22.99 pence each.
The company said it is in discussions with a number of potential cornerstone investors as part of the fundraising process.
"These discussions are ongoing and the company will provide an update to the market as appropriate," it added.
