(Alliance News) - Avacta Group PLC on Monday said Sam Williams is stepping down from his role as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Williams joined the biotechnology company at the end of January, keeping his role of chief executive of life sciences at investment firm IP Group PLC.
"The chairman and board would like to thank Sam for his contribution and look forward to continuing to work with Sam in his role at IP Group as a strongly supportive investor in Avacta," the company said in its statement Monday.
Avacta shares closed 1.9% lower on Monday in London at 15.70 pence each.
