(Alliance News) - Asiamet Resources Ltd said Wednesday it has appointed Bruce Sheng as non-executive director with immediate effect.
Sheng is currently the chair of Asipac Group Pty Ltd, a company with investments in the resource and financial sectors. He is also executive chair of ASX-listed Terramin Australia Ltd, which is developing a portfolio of zinc and gold projects in Australia and Algeria.
"On behalf of the company we welcome Bruce to the Asiamet board. Bruce has been a long-term supportive shareholder and we look forward to the opportunity to work more closely with him as we move into the project financing and development stage for the BKM project and continue advancing our other high potential projects on the KSK Contract of Work and at Beutong," said Executive Chair Tony Manini.
Shares in Asiamet Resources were up 4.4% at 4.49 pence on Wednesday.
