Ascent Resources completes operations on Pg-10 well

(ShareCast News) - Ascent Resources, an AIM listed independent energy company, has successfully completed wireline operations at its Pg-10 well.The service team have cleared debris from the well and perforated production tubing at a depth of 3,102m where it is in contact with the reservoir.The well flared for a short period after the operation indicating the perforations has been done successfully.The surface well test team will carry out a flow test which is anticipated to be completed this week.Chief executive Colin Hutchinson said: "We are pleased that the perforating operation has been successfully completed and look forward to the results of the flow test."The share price rose 12.44% to 1.80p at 1300 GMT on Monday.
