LONDON (Alliance News) - Medical technology company ANGLE PLC on Wednesday said it has secured a European patent covering its Parsortix liquid biopsy system.
The system harvests cancer cells for blood for medical analysis purposes.
The patent provides protection over a wide number of uses of the system and will run until 2034, ANGLE said.
"The grant of this patent in the European Union further strengthens ANGLE's IP position and maintains our momentum in expanding patent coverage across major markets worldwide," said ANGLE Chief Executive Andrew Newland.
Shares in Angle were down 0.5% to 62.20 pence.
