Aminex Hires Ex-Grant Thornton Partner To Board, Appoints Joint Broker

LONDON (Alliance News) - Upstream oil and gas producer Aminex PLC said Thursday it has hired Linda Beal as a non-executive director, with immediate effect, and appointed GMP FirstEnergy as joint corporate broker.

Beal is a chartered accountant who has led "various international resource groups". She was recently a partner at Grant Thornton LLP for two years, where she led its global energy and natural resources group.

Beal is currently a non-executive director at Tax Systems PLC, San Leon Energy PLC and Kropz PLC.

Aminex has appointed GMP FirstEnergy to work alongside Davy and Shore Capital as joint brokers.

Shares in Aminex were down 0.2% Thursday at 1.47 pence each.
