Alien Metals affiliate GreenTech appoints chief geologist

(Sharecast News) - Alien Metals said on Monday that GreenTech Metals had appointed Rachel Backus as chief geologist, effective 27 July 2026, as GreenTech prepares for a major drilling programme at the Munni Munni PGE-Cu-Ni and Whundo Cu-Zn-Au projects in Western Australia.

Alien holds a 30% interest in Munni Munni, free carried to completion of a bankable feasibility study, and owns 37.9 million GreenTech shares, representing about 10% of its issued share capital.

Backus has more than 18 years' exploration experience across gold and multi-commodity systems in Western Australia and northern Australia.

At 1426 BST, shares in Alien Metals were down 9.09% at 0.1p.
