Surface Transforms PLC, up 30% at 54.40 pence, 12-month range 36.00p-80.95p. The ceramic brake discs maker signs a new GBP100 million contract with existing customer OEM 8, replacing its existing GBP27.5 million contract.

Tungsten Corp PLC, up 19% at 46.02p, 12-month range 22.00p-46.32p. The electronic invoicing company says two possible takeover bids had been made. Tungsten says that it had agreed a 42.00 pence per share cash offer from Kofax. Tungsten Corp directors unanimously recommend Kofax offer to shareholders. Kofax offer values Tungsten at GBP53.7 million and is 45% premium to December 13 closing price. However, Pagero Group AB came in with a higher possible cash offer. Pagero offers 45.00p per share for acquisition of Tungsten, 7% ahead of the Kofax offer.

Burford Capital Ltd, up 4.0% at 759.00p, 12-month range 576.00p-969.50p. Peel Hunt upgrades litigation services provider to 'buy' from ádd' and lifts price target to 1,000.00p from 750.00p.

Mobile Tornado Group PLC, down 33% at 0.87p, 12-month range 0.87p-5.40p. The mobile communications applications provider has agreed to a 12-month extension to a loan, which will now expire in September 2023. It has also increased the maximum principal amount which may be drawn to GBP500,000 pounds from GBP300,000 previously.
