AIM WINNERS & LOSERS: Bigblu Broadband rises on Quickline stake sale

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM in London on Friday.

Bigblu Broadband PLC, up 14% at 122.6 pence, 12-month range 78p-142p. The broadband services provider says it has agreed to sell its holding in Quickline, the holding company for Quickline Communications Ltd, to private markets investment firm Northleaf Capital Partners. Bigblu says the sale values its 57% stake in Quickline at GBP48.6 million, equivalent to 84 pence per Bigblu share.

Baron Oil PLC, up 12% at 0.11p, 12-month range 0.06p-0.13p. The oil and gas exploration company says it has increased its shareholding in exploration and production firm SundaGas Pte Ltd. Baron says it has increased its shareholding in Singapore-based SundaGas to 85% from 33%, thereby increasing its indirect interest in the Chuditch PSC project to 64% from 25%.

Oilex Ltd, up 9.9% at 0.31p, 12-month range 0.06p-0.51p. The oil and gas company says the government of India has approved the Cambay PSC work programme and budget for the 2021-2022 financial year.

Alba Mineral Resources PLC, up 9.8% at 0.31p, 12-month range 0.05p-0.58p. The mineral exploration and development company confirms gold mineralisation from the Llechfraith lode at the Clogau-St David's gold mine in Wales. Says its phase one drilling encompassed 10 drill holes, with a final drilled total of 1,158 metres.

Fulham Shore PLC, up 8.8% at 17.4p, 12-month range 4.5p-17.49p. The restaurant operator reopens 70 out of its 72 Franco Manca and Real Greek branches, operating as much al-fresco dining as possible. Says group sales in the week ended this past Sunday were "very encouraging", being not only ahead of the previous week, but also ahead of the same week two years ago in April 2019.

e-Therapeutics PLC, up 5.9% at 20.85p, 12-month range 1.01p-26.8p. The drug discovery firm says it has received two payments from Galapagos NV for meeting operational and success-based milestones.
