Xcite Energy Unaware Of Any Reason For Rise In Share Price

LONDON (Alliance News) - Xcite Energy Ltd Monday said it is aware of the rise in the company's share price, but said it knows of no reason for the movement.

Xcite Energy shares were trading up 3.5% to 21.73 pence per share, after reaching a high of 29.0 pence earlier on Monday. The stock is still short of its 52-week high of 44.50p.

The company provided no further comment and information.
