LONDON (Alliance News) - Media buying giant WPP PLC said Wednesday it has acquired New York based Medialets Inc for an undisclosed sum.
Medialets creates technology for the management and measurement of the return on investment of mobile advertising campaigns, and has clients including Johnson & Johnson and Home Box Office Inc.
Medialets also has sales operations in Los Angeles, Chicago and London.
WPP said the acquisition is part of its strategy to invest in fast growing sectors "such as digital".
Shares in WPP are trading down 0.4% at 1,586.00 pence Wednesday afternoon.
