Wood Group's PSN business has won two significant contract extensions in Africa, worth a collective 250m dollars. The largest, which is worth more than $140m, is a five-year extension on a 2006 contract to provide operations, maintenance and construction management services for asset facilities in central Africa.The second, worth over $110m, extends an agreement for the provision of operations and maintenance services in Equatorial Guinea by another three years. Wood Group also said it had recently established a new joint venture (JV) in West Africa entitled Wood Group Ghana, in which it has a 49% stake. The JV will be led by partner Nyanteki-Owusu, its president and majority shareholder.James Crawford, Wood Group PSN Managing Director for Africa, said: "We are extremely proud of our performance in Africa.
