NEW YORK, Nov 23 (IFR) - Vodafone pulled a 30-year US dollarbond offering from the market, hours after announcing initialprice thoughts for the trade, one of the lead managers told IFR.
Market participants had expected the deal to have a size ofUS$1.5bn to US$2bn, which was being marketed at a spread of250bp area over US Treasuries.
Vodafone is the second issuer to pull a multi-billionoffering from the US corporate bond market in less than a week.Veritas failed to sell high-yield bonds backing its leveragedbuyout from Carlyle last week. (Reporting by Natalie Harrison; Writing by Davide Scigliuzzo;Editing by Jack Doran)
