U.S. stock index futures rose on Wednesday, on hopes aresolution would be reached between Ukraine and Russia and aheadof the latest batch of data which could provide insight on thehealth of the economy. Dow Jones industrial average futures were up 0.50 percent at 17,139, S&P 500 futures were up 0.43 percent at 2,008.25 and Nasdaq 100 futures were up 0.38 percent at 4,107.75.

The drug developer entered into a deal with AbbVie Inc to develop cancer drug duvelisib, codenamed IPI-145,for which it will get upfront payment of $275 million and up to$530 million in milestone payments.
Infinity also signed an agreement with Roche Holding AG to test Roche's cancer drug Gazyva, or obinutuzumab, incombination with its experimental cancer drugs.
