DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Tarsus MD Buys Shares After Swing To Loss

Wed, 05th Aug 2015 15:58

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Wednesday.
----------
Publisher and events manager Tarsus Group said Managing Director Douglas Emslie bought 3,167 shares at a price of 219 pence per share Tuesday. Following this transaction, Emslie holds 1.1 million shares, which represents 1.1% stake in the firm.

Tarsus Group last Wednesday said it remains confident of delivering a strong performance for its full year despite swinging to a pretax loss in its first half, as its revenues are heavily weighted towards its second half due to the timing of its larger exhibitions.

"The investment in our portfolio has resulted in sector leading organic revenue and visitor growth. The execution of our strategy gathered pace recently with acquisitions of PAINWeek and AMB and the agreement to dispose of our French business," Emslie had said.

Tarsus shares ended flat at 211.50p Wednesday.
----------
Severn Trent said Managing Director of Business Services Andrew Smith sold 7,423 shares at a price of 2,192p each. Following this transaction Smith has an interest in 31.6 million shares, or a less than 1.0% interest in the water utilities company. Shares in Severn Trent closed up 0.8% at 2,217.51p Wednesday.
----------
Mercantile Investment Trust said Director Jeremy Tigue bought 49 shares in the company at 1,705p each Monday. Following the transaction, Tigue has 8,387 shares in the trust, a 0.01% stake. Shares closed Wednesday up 0.9% at 1,735.00p.
----------
Standard Life UK Small Companies Trust said Carol Nimmo, wife of fund manager Harry Nimmo, bought 39,000 shares on Tuesday. Of these, 30,000 shares were bought at GBP3.24698 each, 3,000 at GBP3.26 and 6,000 at GBP3.25912. Following this transaction, the Nimmos hold 268,120 shares, which represents 0.41% stake in the investment trust. The stock closed up 2.1% at 334.50 pence Wednesday.
