(Sharecast News) - Independent video games developer Team17 announced on Wednesday that 'Overcooked! All You Can Eat' has launched on Microsoft's new console platform, the 'Xbox Series XS', and would launch on the new Sony 'PlayStation 5' platform on 12 November.
The AIM-traded firm said 'Overcooked! All You Can Eat', which would be the first Team17 title launched on the next-generation consoles, included fully remastered versions of its previous 'Overcooked!' and 'Overcooked! 2' titles, including all downloadable content previously released for both titles, and an exclusive new experience, including seven new levels and three new chef characters.
Team17 also noted that 'Overcooked! All You Can Eat' would be "the most accessible" title in the series so far, and would include an option to enable dyslexia-friendly text, a scalable user interface and colourblind-friendly chef indicators, alongside an assist mode that added features to increase level times.
The game would also be available on physical media for both next-generation consoles later in 2020.
"We are delighted to be extending the gaming universe of both Overcooked! and Overcooked! 2 across these next-generation consoles and look forward to further expanding our diverse portfolio of titles over the coming months," said chief executive officer Debbie Bestwick.
