BERLIN, Sept 23 (Reuters) - Thomas Cook said there were
around 140,000 people currently travelling with its German
subsidiaries, with a further 21,000 booked to depart on Monday
and Tuesday.
A German government official said at the weekend that
compulsory insurance should cover the repatriation needs of most
German travellers, should they be stranded by the venerable tour
operator's collapse.
