Scottish broadcaster STV said that, while the advertising market remains tough, it has seen encouraging trends in regional advertising in the second quarter.Revenues from regional advertising are down 12% for the three month period which compares with 19% for the first half, STV said.The firm added that it is continuing to grow its share of the Scottish market.STV has also won its first ever series commission for the BBC, to produce Antiques Road Trip, a daytime series for BBC Two.It added that its website should have dedicated sites for all Scotland's main towns and cities by the end of summer, allowing the company to tap into local classified markets."STV continues to take control of its destiny and we have maintained positive momentum through 2009," said chief executive Rob Woodward.
