TRADING UPDATES: IXICO, Spectra and Actual Experience win deals

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Monday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

IXICO PLC - neuroimaging and digital biomarker analytics firm - Wins deal to provide neuroimaging services for a phase III clinical trial, focused on, demyelinating disorder, a condition where the protective covering of nerve fibres are damaged. The deal is worth in excess of GBP1.0 million over seven years and the trial will be conducted across 100 sites in 10 countries.

Spectra Systems Corp - Rhode Island-based authentication technology provider - Selected by largest lottery in US to provide the Premier64 Integrity internal control system. Deal is worth USD600,000 over base term of five-years. The system allows for real-time monitoring and supports both online and instant lottery games.

Actual Experience PLC - Bath-based and AIM-listed analytics-as-a-service company - Secures two further contracts for business impact assessments. One has been agreed with an unnamed channel partner. "This will assist in planning its hybrid workplace strategy, whilst also providing a powerful reference as it sells to its own customers. The second contract is with a leading global food and beverages business," Actual Experience says.

Sportech PLC - London-based betting technology company - Enters into agreement with Connecticut Lottery Co to deliver sports betting services to its venues. After a soft launch, Sportech's services are now live in flagship bars in Stamford, Bradley and New Haven. The rollout across seven remaining venues is to occur in the next two weeks. In addition, Sportech says the exclusivity granted to a potential buyer of its terrestrial lottery supply contract has been extended to December 1. This is to "bring the negotiations and any resulting transaction to a conclusion".

GSTechnologies Ltd - Milton Keynes, England-based fintech - Says deal to buy Angra Ltd, a foreign exchange and payment services provider, only needs Financial Conduct Authority approval now. GSTechnologies says due diligence for the GBP800,000 deal has concluded. "The acquisition is now only conditional on the FCA granting approval for the change of control of Angra," the company adds.

BATM Advanced Communications Ltd - Israel-based networking technology and medical lab systems - Receives EUR909,920 contract for its agricultural waste treatment solution. BATM awarded deal from a cattle facility in Botswana. BATM says EUR376,000 has already been received and delivery of the project is expected in the second half of 2022.

Directa Plus PLC - London-based supplier of graphene-based products - Says a "high performance" trail running shoe has used a graphene membrane Directa has developed. The membrane provides a wearer of the shoe with extra comfort due to its "thermal conductivity and abrasion resistance". The shoe will be showcased at the ISPO Munich trade fair in January, It is the largest sports trade show in the world.

Power Metal Resources PLC - exploration company seeking metal discoveries in the US, Australia and Africa - Exercises option to acquire sole ownership of Pilot Mountain project in Nevada. Power Metal will acquire asset through subsidiary Golden Metal Resources Ltd, which it plans to list on London capital markets. Power Metal is acquiring the stake from London-listed Thor Mining PLC. Power Metal will pay USD115,000 in cash, with USD1.7 million payable through issue of 48.1 million shares at 2.5 pence each. In addition, Thor will receive 12.5 million warrants to subscribe for Power Metal shares with an exercise price of 4p.

Altus Strategies PLC - mining royalties investor - Begins 35,000 metres reverse circulation drilling at Tabakorole gold project in Mali. Altus holds a 49% interest in asset, as well as 2.5% net smelter royalty.

W Resources PLC- tungsten, tin and gold mining and exploring in Spain and Portugal - Says unit Iberian Resources Portugal receives mining licence at Regua tungsten asset in Portugal. Licence was signed by directorate general for energy & geology on Thursday. "Approval of the environmental study will allow the release of the underground mining works authorisation, which is a key condition for the commencement of mining," W Resources says. "Assuming no further Covid-19 impacts, production is anticipated to commence in H2 2022, with annual production estimated to reach circa 1,000 tonnes of tungsten concentrate per annum, increasing W's total concentrate production, reducing average costs per tonne and increasing sales."

Ascent Resources PLC - onshore Caribbean, Hispanic American and European focused energy and natural resources company - Signs two month extension to memorandum of understanding in relation to talks over production sharing contracts in onshore producing Block 9B and onshore exploration Blocks 9A, 12 and 15, all in Cuba. Ascent says agreement with Cuban national oil firm CUBET has been extended by two months. It follows a six-month extension announced in April.

Cadence Minerals PLC - London-based investor in mineral resources - Gets approval for change of control request at federal port concession owned by DEV Mineracao SA. It follows a reinstatement of the life of mine railway concession. Together, these are "essential regulatory requirements" for critical infrastructure needed for Amapa iron ore mine in Brazil. The change of control becomes effective once Pedra Branca Alliance Pte Ltd, a joint-venture Cadence is part of, becomes the 99.9% owner of DEV.
