Sportech PLC - London-based online gambling company - Says it has requested an extension to date by which Standard General is required either to announce a firm intention to make an offer for Sportech, or walk away. Such announcement must now be made by no later than 1700 GMT on December 17, but there can be no certainty that a formal offer will be made, it says. On Tuesday, Standard General submitted a revised proposal to Sportech at 32.5 pence per share.
