Sigma Capital Buys 1.5 Million Shares In PRS REIT; Now Has 1.2% Stake

(Alliance News) - Edinburgh-based Sigma Capital Group PLC on Wednesday said it has acquired 1.5 million ordinary shares in PRS REIT PLC at a price of 76 pence per share.

This GBP1.1 million acquisition takes build-to-rent company Sigma's total shareholding in the private rental sector real estate investment trust to 5.9 million shares, which represents a 1.2% holding in PRS REIT.

Sigma's subsidiary, Sigma PRS Management Ltd, acts as an investment adviser to Manchester-based PRS REIT.

Shares in Sigma Capital were up 1.2% at 132.00 pence, and shares in PRS REIT were up 0.2% at 75.31 pence in London on Wednesday, giving it a market capitalisation of GBP373.0 million.
