(Alliance News) - S4 Capital PLC on Tuesday said it has merged two of its agencies - Netherlands-based creative designer MediaMonks and California-based media consultant MightyHive.
The merged unit is now called Media.Monks and will hold a team of nearly 6,000 in 33 countries, specialising in digital marketing and advertising.
S4 Capital is a London-based marketing company that has acquired several agencies around the world.
"Media.Monks underpins S4 Capital's agility, digital knowledge and efficiency and is the next step in delivering on its foundational promise to unify content, data and digital media and technology services," said S4 Capital.
Media.Monks co-founder Wesley ter Haar noted the decision was not a boardroom one and involved input from a range of "teams and talent".
Ter Haar added: "For our clients, it means they keep the same team and the day-to-day they love - but now have even simpler access to an amazingly deep pool of specialist talent.
"Consolidation is an engine to innovate and this makes it easier to help our clients show up better for theirs."
Shares in S4 Capital were down 1.2% at 697.48 pence in London on Tuesday.
