LONDON (Alliance News) - RockRose Energy PLC on Thursday said it made a loss in the first six months since its incorporation.
The company, created to make an acquisition in the UK oil and gas sector, floated in London in January, raising GBP4.4 million.
For the six months to the end of December, it made a GBP809,487 pretax loss, entirely driven by administrative expenses related to its listing.
RockRose said it was reviewing a number of potential acquisition opportunities for producing and non-producing onshore and offshore assets.
Shares in the company were up 2.5% to 49.70 pence.
