LONDON (Alliance News) - Rambler Metals & Mining PLC Tuesday said that drilling at Marathon Gold Corp's Valentine Lake Project in Canada has expanded the Sprite Zone, with high-grade near surface gold intercepts.
The copper and gold producer, which has a strategic investment in Marathon, said that the Sprite area now has a strike length in excess of 500 metres and drilling found near surface intercepts, including 5.35 grams per tonne of gold over a 6.0 metre space including 11.65 grams per tonne over a 2.4 metre space.
The company also said that Marathon is in the early stages of finalising a drill programme at the Sprite Area for the coming summer drilling season.
Rambler Metals & Mining shares were up 2.3% to 29.40 pence Tuesday.
