HOUSTON, March 12 (Reuters) - The United Steelworkers unionand oil companies have reached a tentative deal to end thelargest U.S. refinery strike in 35 years after 40 days, sourcesfamiliar with the negotiations for a new labor accord said onThursday.
A tentative national agreement may not end strikes at all 12refineries that have suffered walkouts as issues particular tolocal union chapters could still be pending, they said.
