RIO DE JANEIRO, Sept 26 (Reuters) - Brazil's most productivefield, Lula, located in the offshore Santos basin, should hitpeak production in 2020 or 2021, an executive at Royal DutchShell said on Wednesday.
Cristiano Pinto da Costa, Shell's General Manager for theLula, Sapinhoa, Iracema and Lapa fields, all located in theSantos basin, made the comments on the sidelines of an oilconference in Rio de Janeiro.
The field averages 879,000 barrels of oil per day, and isoperated by Brazil's state oil company Petroleo Brasileiroin a consortium with Shell and Portugal's Galp.(Reporting by Marta Nogueira and Alexandra Alper; Editing byChristian Plumb)
