April 22 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell Plc reportedplanned maintenance at its 255,000 barrel-per-day Scotford oilsands upgrader near Edmonton, Alberta.
In a notice on a community information line on Monday, thecompany said there could be intermittent flaring over the next48 hours and there was no material impact to production.
The upgrader is part of Shell's 60 percent-owned Athabascaoil sands project. Chevron Corp and Marathon Oil Corp each have 20 percent stakes in the venture. (Reporting By Arpan Varghese; Editing by Gerald E. McCormick)
