Sept 3 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell Plc reported arelease of sulfur dioxide due to flaring on Tuesday at its156,400 barrel-per-day refinery in Martinez, California,according to a filing with state pollution regulators.
No waterways were affected, the filing with the CaliforniaEmergency Management Agency said.
The filing did not mention which units were affected or thereason for the flaring.
