HOUSTON, Aug 27 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell Plcrestarted the gasoline-producing Fluidic Catalytic Cracking Unit(FCCU) and the hydrocracking unit (HCU) at its 209,787barrel-per-day (bpd) Convent, Louisiana, refinery over theweekend, said sources familiar with plant operations on Monday.
The 92,000 bpd FCCU had been shut for a nine-week overhauland returned to production after two weeks of restart attempts,the sources said. The 45,000 bpd heavy oil HCU, called the H-OilUnit, restarted after being shut by a fire on Aug. 12.
