LONDON, Feb 24 (Reuters) - Shell has signed anagreement with the British government to proceed to the nextphase of its carbon capture and storage (CCS) project at SSE's Peterhead gas plant in Scotland, Shell said on Monday.
The project aims to capture 10 million tonnes of carbondioxide from the plant over 10 years and is scheduled to beoperational by the end of the decade, Shell said.
