March 13 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell Plc said itwas restarting an unspecified unit at its Scotford upgraderfacility near Edmonton, Alberta, according to a message postedon a community information line on Thursday afternoon.
Shell runs a 255,000-barrel-per-day oil sands upgraderfacility and a 100,000-bpd refinery at Scotford.
There could be increased flaring over the next 48 hours,though there will be no material impact on production, thecompany said.
