LAGOS/LONDON, Oct 20 (Reuters) - Nigerian courts haveadjourned until December 8 a suit against Shell's Nigerian subsidiary SPDC over claims that the company owes moneyfor allegedly not declaring exports of crude oil.
* The Nigerian government said it is owed a total of $12.7billion by more than a dozen companies for allegedly notdeclaring exports of crude oil to the United States between 2011and 2014. The amount it is seeking from Shell was notimmediately clear.
* Shell said SPDC was served with the lawsuit in March, andthat it "refutes every allegation and insinuation ofimpropriety."
* "SPDC has always conducted its transactions relating tocrude liftings from Nigeria in accordance with all applicablelaws and in line with its rights and obligations under relevantcontracts," the spokesman said in a statement.
