* Norway pipeline gas exports rise to 274 mcm/day * Flows to Germany surge by 23 mcm to 141 mcm/day OSLO, May 16 (Reuters) - Norwegian gas exports surged onFriday on higher flows to Germany and the Netherlands, whiledropping slightly to Britain, data from gas system operatorGassco showed. Higher flows to the Continent meant that more gas will beinjected into storage as consumption was down across northwestEurope due to rising temperatures, while Russia flows weresteady, analysts at Thomson Reuters Point Carbon said. Gas field maintenance planned on May 23-29 is expected tocut Norwegian gas production by 60 million cubic metres (mcm)per day, Gassco has said. That could translate into deliveries through the Langeledbeing reduced by 5-10 mcm per day, analysts said. The following table shows Norwegian pipeline gas flowsmeasured in mcm/day compared with the previous day's closinglevel: Destination Real time Pvs session Change (mcm) Britain 43 47 -4 Germany & Netherlands 141 118 23 France 45 46 -1 Belgium 45 43 2 Total 274 254 20 NOTE: Pipeline gas export figures are based on gas fed into thesystem at a certain time and calculated as a daily average.Levels can vary throughout the day as producers adjust theamount of gas they export, according to changing nominations, ororders, from customers.
