HOUSTON, Oct 6 (Reuters) - Motiva Enterprises wasperforming an overhaul at its 233,500 barrel per day (bpd)Norco, Louisiana refinery, according to a notice the refineryfiled with federal pollution regulators on Saturday.
Sources familiar operations at the refinery told Reuters inearly August that the refinery's crude distillation unit andgasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracking unit would be shutin early October for a planned overhaul.
Motiva said on Friday production levels were reduced at theNorco refinery due to a delay in shipments of crude oil duringTropical Storm Karen. The company declined to describe therefinery's status on Sunday. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by Bernard Orr)
