KUWAIT, May 13 (Reuters) - Kuwait's state oil group said itsigned a five-year liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply deal withBP on Tuesday, worth an estimated $3 billion, the Gulfstate's second energy import deal this week.
Kuwait Petroleum Corp (KPC) signed a $12 billion LNG supplydeal with Royal Dutch Shell on Sunday.
Kuwait expects to import a total of around 2.5 milliontonnes of LNG per year over the next few years through suchcontracts, said Nasser al-Mudaf, head of KPC's internationalmarketing division. (Reporting by Ahmed Hagagy and Sylvia Westall; Editing by EricaBillingham)
