Nuformix PLC - London-based pharmaceutical firm focused on fibrosis and oncology - Non-Executive Chair Alastair Riddell writes a letter to shareholders to address the "frustration and confusion" that followed Wednesday's announcement that Anne Brindley will depart as chief executive officer, having only joined Nuformix in December. Prior to Nuformix, Brindley was CEO of Advent Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd, a Melbourne-based research and development company focused on generic inhaled products. Riddell says Brindley received a "significant job offer she could not refuse from previous colleagues – it is no reflection on Nuformix or her view of the opportunities in the Nuformix pipeline". Brindley will continue to push forward the company's three pipeline assets for NXP002, NXP004 and NXP001 during the six-month notice period. "All these projects are proceeding according to plan towards the inflection points previously communicated and all activities will continue to be progressed," Riddell says.

Recent board appointee Robert Horvath becomes independent chair.

----------

Young will help Valereum build the Valereum Bridge, a non-fungible-token bespoke securities financial platform aimed at linking government-issued currencies with cypto currencies.
