LONDON (Alliance News) - Plexus Holdings PLC on Friday said it has appointed Kunming Liu as a non-executive director, as part of the company's recently signed licence deal with Yantai Jereh Oilfield Services Group and share subscription deal with Jereh International Hong Kong Co Ltd.
The agreement was to facilitate the rental, sale and manufacture of Plexus's wellhead equipment for the Chinese, wider Asian, Brazilian, Indian and Middle East oil and gas markets.
Liu is currently vice president and chief administration of HITIC Energy, a subsidiary of Chinese oil services provider Jereh.
"We are delighted to welcome Kunming to the board. Her extensive experience and proven track record in China will be invaluable to us as we enter the next stage of global growth with our licencing partner Jereh," said Plexus Chief Executive officer Ben Van Bilderbeek in a statement.
Shares in Plexus were untraded Friday morning at 160.75 pence.
