Integumen launches 'ecowaterOS' consortium with Modern Water

Wed, 26th Feb 2020 15:33

(Sharecast News) - Integumen announced the launch of 'ecowaterOS' on Wednesday, which it described as a green technology data management ecosystem that monitors and analyses water for bacteria contamination using artificial intelligence.
The AIM-traded firm said ecowaterOS would provide a broad range of clients from water utilities to consumers, with alerts as to the contamination of water supplies in real-time, and the provision of services from a consortium of water decontamination solution providers.

It said the ecowaterOS initial consortium members included Rinocloud AI, Acumen Software, Nimbus Research Centre, the Cork Institute of Technology, Cellulac , its AIM colleague Modern Water, and the tcBB Resource Centre/

Integumen said Fin Murray, its current director and group sales director, was becoming chief operations officer effective immediately.

Paul Ryan was also promoted to chief sales officer across all divisions of Integumen, as the demand for its services and subsequent growth required further expansion of sales and scientific teams to cover multinational clients on four continents.

"The consortium brings together multiple partners with a combined 32 years of tried and tested engineering skill sets added to smart AI cloud-based data analytic technologies and best-in-class engineering at commercial scale across the brewing, biofuel, chemical and wastewater industries," said Integumen chief executive officer Gerard Brandon.

"With raising awareness of the direct impact of climate change across the world on systems vital to our wellbeing, ecowaterOS is a global game-changer for water monitoring, recovery, treatment and recycling."

Simon Humphrey, chief executive officer of Modern Water, added that his company was "delighted" to be able to provide the knowledge and expertise of its water monitoring services and supplies along with decontamination systems to the ecowaterOS multi-continental consortium.

"This unique platform of integrated water management systems, from contamination detection to decontamination is a world first end-to-end high-tech solution to community, regional and continental-wide water shortages."

At 1521 GMT, shares in Integumen were down 1.28% at 1.39p, while those in Modern Water were 5.36% lower at 0.71p.
