Shares in Andor Technology climbed after the digital camera manufacturer said it expects revenues and profits for the full year to exceed expectations.Shares in Birmingham City climbed by 10% after the football club confirmed it has received an approach from Grandtop, the company owned by Hong Kong businessman Carson Yeung. Strong growth in its international operations helped the sports consultancy TSE Group nearly double profits in the half year to June 30. Pre-tax profits rose to £101,000 from £55,000 the previous year as revenue jumped to £818,000 from £612,000. Revenue fell to £1.86m from £2.71m. 'We do not expect commercial broadcasters to experience any revenue increases until 2011 and so we are focussing all of our development efforts on the BBC. As a result we expect to maintain our production activity at current levels,' it said.Car renter Northgate's right issuer received a 97.5% take-up.
