(Alliance News) - Midatech Pharma PLC on Thursday said Chief Financial Officer Stephen Stamp bought GBP13,750 worth of shares.
Stamp paid 5.5 pence each for 250,000 shares in a deal which took place on Wednesday. His holding in the biotechnology company is now 450,000 shares, or 0.1%.
On Monday, Midatech posted a narrowed pretax loss for the six months ended June 30 of GBP5.3 million, versus GBP6.5 million the year before. This was due to a reduction in expenses.
Shares in Mediatech were up 4.7% at 5.89 pence in London on Thursday afternoon.
