Location Sciences Group PLC - London-based location verification provider to advertisers - Appoints Simon Wilkinson as non-executive chair and Nigel Burton as senior non-executive director, following a shareholder vote on Friday last week that approved its recent GBP3.5 million fundraise. Kelvin Harrison and Benjamin Chilcott, meanwhile, have stepped down from the board. Wilson was chief executive officer and then chair of software firm Mobica, and previously CEO of Myriad Group AG and Magic4 Ltd. Burton is an investment banker who worked at UBS Warburg, part of UBS Group AG, and Deutsche Bank AG. He currently is a non-executive director of London-listings BlackRock Throgmorton Trust PLC, DeepVerge PLC, eEnergy Group PLC, Mobile Streams PLC and Microsaic Systems PLC, Location Sciences notes. Burton is considered an independent director, and the company intends to appoint a second independent director, and possibly a third. Wilkinson has a 2.9% stake in the company's enlarged share capital and Burton 2.6%.

Rural Broadband Solutions PLC - Isle of Man-based telecommunications provider - Plans to appoint Chris Stone as non-executive director. Stone is chair of FTSE 250 cybersecurity firm NCC Group PLC and of AIM-listed public sector software provider Idox PLC. He was chair of former AIM listing Cityfibre Infrastructure Holdings until it was sold to private equity in 2018.

Pathfinder Minerals PLC - Mozambique-focused natural resources explorer - Hires Mark Gasson as independent non-executive director, effective immediately. Gasson is a geologist with 35 years experience in gold and base metals exploration in Africa and South America, Pathfinder says.

Semper Fortis Esports PLC - Sheffield-based e-sports team owner and technology provider - Hires England and Manchester United footballer Harry Maguire as a brand ambassador. Maguire joins fellow footballer Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the role of brand ambassador. The Everton player's appointment was announced last week. Both will be paid in stock warrants. They will interact with online audiences on behalf of Semper Fortis.
