LONDON (Alliance News) - MedaPhor Group PLC Thursday said it has struck a partnership deal with South Africa-based medical device reseller Malaika Medical Distributors to drive sales of the ScanTrainer product.
MedaPhor, the ultrasound training simulators company, said the deal is designed to boost sales of the ScanTrainer product in the sub-Saharan region and is MedaPhor's first contract in Africa.
No financial details on the agreement with disclosed.
"As the healthcare industry continues to grow there is huge potential for ScanTrainer in this region. Malaika Medical already has a proven track record of success in the ultrasound market and we are delighted to be working with them," said MedaPhor Chief Executive Stuart Gall.
Shares in MedaPhor were untraded Thursday, having last traded at 57.80 pence.
