Mediclinic International PLC - Stellenbosch-based private healthcare provider - FTSE Russell confirms company to be removed from FTSE 250 on Thursday and replaced by BlackRock Greater Euro Investment Trust PLC, an investment trust focused on small, mid and large-cap companies across Europe. Removal follows confirmation that Mediclinic's acquisition by a consortium led by the Johannesburg-listed investment firm Remgro Ltd, which values Mediclinic at around GBP3.7 billion, is to be completed on Thursday.
